The newly completed Bosa Properties’ Uptown project in West Coquitlam features two towers connected by a podium located a half block from the future Burquitlam Station on SkyTrain’s Evergreen Line. This high-density mixed-use project is anchored at the base by the major grocery store chain Safeway, along with other retail store fronts. The development is helping to create a new up-and-coming community in the area.
Uptown is located on the rise at Clarke Road and Como Lake, half a block from Evergreen Line’s Burquitlam Station. Many of the 438 homes, a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units, will enjoy expansive views. Each home is designed to increase the flexibility of the space available with open spaces and efficient storage.
A 2,315 sq.ft. wellness pavilion featuring a fitness room, yoga studio, infrared sauna and steamroom is located on an extensive landscaped amenity podium. Additional amenity is provided in the form of private lounges for resident’s use.
“We were excited about creating a new hub and a community in that area (near the Evergreen Line),” she said. “That was the launching point for us; to explore what this area could be.”
